The only place to go in the transit area.

A relax spot in JR Shinagawa station, difficult to get a seat.

A small Starbucks right by the Shinkansen waiting room. Very friendly staff. Not especially crowded even during rush hour. It's located inside the Shinkansen North Entrance. If you change from JR and enter Shinkansen through the South Entrance then you can easily just walk along the tracks and go up by the North Entrance.

ItΓ’β¬β’s great to have Starbucks because they are almost always open . This one is at the station and is open air and it was cold as it was winter . They offer blankets though

The location of this Starbucks is very nice, it is really close to the entrance gate for Shinkansen. In addition, there are many seats here. One thing I was disappointed was this place is very cold due to the open space.

There is an other one close by and thats the recommend one.. If possible avoid for regular coffee goers like me the taste keep changing daily and no consistency

Could be chilly during the winter time since it is located on a terrace part in Shinagawa Station. You can sit on the side with your coffee and watch the crowd in and out Shinagawa Station.

Not open with the first Shinkansen. All Starbucks in Japan open very late. Very bad business model.

Kind staff... first reserve location I've frequented. Tasty frozen teas although not large enough for my unquenchable Americano thirst: )

The place is very convenient for those who is waiting for the Shinkansen and very inconvenient in general because many people come and they almost never have available seats.

Busy Starbucks with nice views of the station.ItΓ’β¬β’s cold as itΓ’β¬β’s open plan and near the entrance to the station.Situated about the Shinkansen Gates at the North Entrance/Exit you need to climb a flight of stairs to reach it. So if you have bags you need to carry them upstairs. The staff are great. But be prepared to be cold in winter.

Packed with people on an early Sunday evening (barely any open seats)!Squeezed myself into an open space at the big table.Oh and they asked to see the receipt when handing the drink at the counter; thought that was kind of rare.
